Course Title : Electrical Wiring Interconnection System Level 1
Course Code : BCT-0093
Terminal Objective : The course is designed for persons that will be responsible to direct perform maintenance on A/C that may required replacing, inspections and/or design EWIS installation, modification, repair including its tools and applicable aircraft wiring manual
Enabling Objective : On completion of the course, trainees will be able to:
a) Know the safe handling of aero-plane electrical systems, Line Replaceable Units (LRU), tooling, troubleshooting procedures and electrical measurement.
b) Know the construction and navigation of the aero-plane wiring system overhaul or wiring practices manual.
c) Know different types of inspections, human factors in inspections, zonal areas and typical damages.
d) Know the contamination sources, materials, cleaning and protection procedures.
e) Know the correct ID of different wire types, their inspection criteria and damages tolerance, repair and preventative maintenance.
f) Know the procedures to identify, inspect and find the correct repair for typical types of connective devices found on the aero-plane.
g) Demonstrate the procedure for replacement for all parts the typical type of connection devices found on the airplane.
