Terminal Objective : The course is designed for Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Engineer who will be responsible to perform the airframe, engine and avionic maintenance of aircraft ATR 42-400/500/72-212A (500 combined 600 variant) with Engine PWC PW120 system in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Manual, the relevant maintenance procedure and meet the Aviation Regulation.
Enabling Objective : On completion of the course, trainees will be able to:
1. Locate and describe access to major component of the aircraft structure, airframe, engine and avionic systems.
2. Explain the operation of airframe, engine and avionic systems or component using system schematics.
3. Carry out system functional checks as specified in maintenance manual.
4. Operate both portable and on board test equipment (B.I.T.E).
5. Troubleshoot airframe, engine and avionic system.
6. Describe and demonstrate the removal and installation procedures of LRU.
7. Read and interpret maintenance manuals and job cards.
8. Interpret report provided by cockpit crew.
9. Interpret the conditions showed on cockpit reading and indication, BITE, and other information systems.
10. Carry out the general servicing on the aircraft systems.

Consist of Multiple-choice questions.
Passed the written examination at least 75 %.
Assessment based on performance
Passed the performance test assessment.
Entry Requirements : Holding basic certificate in the respective category, or
At least 1 (one) year aircraft maintenance experience in the respective category
