A320 CMQ Training for Royal Brunei’s Ground Handling Providers

The GMF Learning Service (TW) gave a training of A320 CMQ (Cross Maintenance Qualification) Neo Leap1A to a number of personnel from several technical handling and ground handling providers for the Royal Brunei Airlines on September 24th -28th, 2018. The training that took place at GMF's the Airbus Training Center ( ATC) was guided by Mr. Yudistia Panca Candra as GMF's instructor.
According to mr. Yudis, the participants of the training are representatives of MRO who carry out technical handling of the Royal Brunei Airlines' A320 Neo aircraft at the Bangkok - Thailand, Manila - Philipine, Cengkareng - Indonesia and Chinese Taipei.These MROs include KLM, Luftansa Technic, JAS Aero Engineering, and EVA. "This training is given for technical handling needs," he said.
In this training, the material which was conducted is Cross Mantenance Qualification Neo Leap 1A which is about the differences in engine type on A320 aircraft. By aircraft system, the A320 Neo does not have a significant difference which is compared to other A320 series. But, the most noticeable difference is the use of the engine. The A320 series aircraft use the CFM56-5 engine, while the A320 Neo uses the Leap 1A engine.
Mr. Yudis said, after getting the theoretical material, the trainees would carry out practical activities at Brunei International Airport on October 1st - 3rd , 2018. "Through this training we can introduce GMF to the region, as a qualified training provider," he said.
